Descripción:
Este Máster semipresencial de 60 ECTS, que se impartirá en Madrid, tiene como objetivo cubrir la necesidad de formación de “gestores de proyectos de traducción”, en un entorno marcado por la revolución digital y en el que el acceso a los contenidos y el conocimiento son los pilares de cualquier transacción. No cabe duda de que la traducción es hoy un punto clave para el acceso a los mercados globales y, en este complejo paradigma, donde diferentes actores interactúan en el proceso de traducción, surge el perfil del gestor internacional de proyectos como el elemento que permite conjugar las necesidades de todos los grupos de interés involucrados en el encargo de traducción (cliente, traductor, terminólogo, localizador, desarrollador, etc.).
Horario: de lunes a jueves, de 16.30 h a 20.30 h.
Idioma: 80% en inglés, 20% en español.

Module I. Translation Project Management (12 ECTS)
(100% English, online):

Module II. International translation company management (12 ECTS)
(80% in English / 20% in Spanish, campus-based):
- International markets in the translation industry
- Business models in the translation industry
- Funding international translation projects
- International call for tenders for major translation projects
- Negotiation techniques for international communication
Module III. Tools, processes and content management (6 ECTS)
(80% in English / 20% in Spanish, campus-based):
- Multilingual content management
- Terminology management
Module IV. Case studies in translation project management (12 ECTS)
(80% in English / 20% in Spanish, campus-based):
- Management of international translation teams
- Criteria of effectiveness in translation project management
- Definition and implementation of collaborative teams: crowdsourcing in translation, technological platforms for collaborative translation
- Design of workflows for incorporating machine translation into the translation processes
Module V. Double path option for Professional Internship/Research
(12 ECTS, campus-based):
Professional Internship Path (50% in Spanish / 50% in English, depending on the needs of the placement center):
- Doing work related to the content of the Master’s program in a sector company
- Report on the internship done at the company, including all the knowledge and case studies involved

Module VI. Master’s Degree Final Project (6 ECTS)

- Developing a case study on integral management of an international translation project
